Milan city breaks: Indulge in red wine while exploring the delights of Milan
It may be a fast-paced metropolis, but as the home to many of Leonardo da Vinci’s work, Milan is also steeped in history and culture.
Here, there’s creativity everywhere you look.
The city’s canals – the Navigli of Milan – are a system conceived by da Vinci, and the cathedral, Duomo di Milano, is a grand, gothic work which sits before a bustling square in the city.
Espresso is an art form too – just take a trip to Lavazza Coffee Design and you’ll soon see the thought and care that goes into each coffee that’s created.
Boasting modern and spacious rooms, rest assured you’ll get a comfortable night’s sleep at the Ramada Plaza Milano.
Each room comes fully-equipped with a TV and free WiFi – not to mention your very own exclusive balcony.
When you’re not busy sightseeing, there’s a sauna, steam room, and gym for guests to use – as well as two restaurants on site.
With almost 850 locations in 60 countries, guests from across the globe may be familiar with Ramada by Wyndham’s invitation to “Say Hello to Red”.

This month, the hotel group launched its new, special red wine list – which can be found in 15 of its hotels.
Crafted by wine expert, author, and blogger Jamie Goode, the wine list is based on six styles – so whether you prefer lighter flavours or full-bodied warm red and spicy wines, there’s bound to be something to suit you.
Locations hosting the wine list include Italy’s Ramada Plaza Milano and Ramada Naples, Turkey’s Ramada Tekirdag, Ramada Usak and Ramada Plaza Istanbul City, and the UAE’s Ramada Jumeirah and Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach.
The wines are also available at the Ramada Plaza Palm Grove Juhu Beach in India, Ramada Plaza Bucharest Convention Center in Romania, and Ramada Resort Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania – as well as Ramada Amsterdam Airport Schipol in the Netherlands.
Britons searching for a staycation needn’t travel too far either, as the Ramada Red Wine List can also be found at Ramada Telford Ironbridge, Ramada Hotel and Suites Coventry, Ramada Hounslow Heathrow East, and Ramada London North M1.
